ABOUT THE ARTIST
My name is Ashley Reichart. I'm 27 years old and am currently living in Medicine Hat, Alberta. I've lived here my entire life. I also own and operate my own grooming salon, Doggy Do's.

Dogs are absolutely my favorite animal. I like cats, but I am definitely a dog person.
​
I have tried other mediums, pastel is by far my favorite to work with. I just love the way it looks and how it adds another level of realism.
​
My specialty is without a doubt pet portraits. I love to draw the fur detail, and the eyes. Animal eyes just have this certain look that I can't resist. They say that the eyes are the windows to the soul.
​
As an independent artist, I have been drawing since before I can remember. I have also been selling my artwork professionally for quite a few years.

When placing an order I do require a 40% non-refundable deposit to secure your spot.
​
I accept cash, registered cheque or e-transfer.
​
If you are unable to pick up your portrait, I can ship it to you at your own expense.
​
**Portraits typically take anywhere between 2-6 weeks to complete depending on time of year.
